Create a .torrent and upload it to the tracker

1.) Launch uTorrent and select "Create New Torrent"

2.) Add the file, or directory, you wish to share.

- Type in the following Tracker info (make sure you have a line break between trackers like shown in figure below). Note: Using open trackers like the one listed second helps ensure the torrent stays healthy:

http://www.atf.cc:6969/announce

http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce

- Make sure "Private torrent" is selected

- Select "Create and save as...", and the torrent will be generated

3.) Save the torrent where you can find it, next you will upload it to the tracker

4.) Access the tracker using your web browser

- Click the "Upload" link
- Chose the torrent you created
- Assign a category (e.g. movie, images, etc)
- click the upload button

5.) Important: Refresh the torrent in your uTorrent client by right clicking it, and selecting "Update Tracker"

 

You are done!

To see if your client is communicating with the tracker:

1.) select the torrent you created

2.) click the "trackers" tab and look at the tracker status:
