The script has been having problems recently getting weather updates on the Internet and has caused timeouts with KD5QHJ-R. Since the response is lengthy anyway, and now that the Sandia Crest repeater is now operational, I think disabling that part of my script makes sense.
So until further notice, DTMF command "2" for getting a weather condition report from the KC5ORO simplex link is disabled. The time command ("8") is still available since it doesn't need to periodically get updates from the Internet.
